What's Your Why: Avon's New Campaign

I am so thrilled and ecstatic to finally share the project Avon has been working on for their new campaign "What's Your Why?". I was able to take part and participate in this amazing video to showcase representatives reasons for joining this amazing company. I joined Avon during college to have extra money for going out and having fun. Now, I've made this into a full career!

A Colorado Wedding

I flew out to snowy and beautiful Denver, CO to celebrate the wedding of my high school best friend. Not only was I her maid of honor, I was also her makeup artist for the entire weekend (bachelorette party, wedding rehearsal, and actual wedding). This weekend made me realize how much I actually like to do bridal makeup. For the bridal look, I went with a smoky, soft plum and brown eye, well groomed and defined eyebrows, lush lashes, and blush lips. The bride normally goes au natural on a daily basis so this was fun to play up her natural features! My favorite part of her face was her eyebrows. All it took was to fill them in slightly with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in Dark Brown and a clear coat of brow gel. Since I posted a photo of my bride on social media, I've been getting asked on how much I charge for bridal makeup application which is something I never thought about but am highly considering on doing now. So, I'm thinking of going back to school to become a professional makeup artist and esthetician. At the moment, I'm currently exploring schools in the Orange County area. Avon Product Expo

This last weekend, I attended Avon's 2015 Making Dreams Come True Conference in Orlando, Florida. So many great things happened and I had the wonderful opportunity to meet some of the people from Corporate in New York. I met the CEO, Sheri McCoy, sat next to Head of Sales, Margaret Gramann, at dinner, and even spoke with the mark. Global President and VP of Marketing, Meg Lerner about how I can assist them! I discussed ideas I had about the products and ways to how she can target more millenials to try the products and SHE LOVED IT. She introduced me to her team and we exchanged numbers. I am so freaking excited guys. Totally loving life right now :) Anyways, I wanted to share with you all the wonderful product expo I attended featuring all of the new items coming out for Fall and the holidays. My personal favorites are the collection of Beyond Color lipsticks, Big False Lash mascara, the mark. lariat necklace, mark. cut out leather booties, false lashes and marbleized baked eyeshadows.
